Quando o tatu era criança

   O tatu, o cavalo, o morcego, o grilo, a pomba, o cachorro, a cobra, o papagaio, o corvo, a minhoca, a vaca, a galinha, o veado, o coelho, a mariposa, o gato, o pato, o rato, o sapo, a girafa e a mosca tinham suas presenças registradas , mas o dragão de sete cabeças esticou uma de suas cabeças até a mesa do professor Cágado, olhou para o livro de presenças e perguntou:

   -Por que me deixou com falta, professor?

   O professor Cágado respondeu:

   -Como eu iria saber que você está na sala se não respondeu “presente” quando eu chamei o seu número?

   E o dragão disse:

   - Eu estava distraído.

   When the armadillo was a child

   The armadillo, the horse, the bat, the cricket, the dove, the dog, the snake, the parrot, the raven, the earthworm, the cow, the hen, the deer, the rabbit, the moth, the cat, the duck, the mouse, the frog, the giraffe and the fly had their presences registered, but the dragon of seven heads extended one of their heads until the teacher laggard’s table, looked at the attendance book and asked:

    -Why it is registered that I skipped, teacher Laggard?

   Teacher Laggard said:

   -How do you want I to Know that you are in the classroom, if you didn’t answered “present” when I called your number?

   And then the dragon of seven heads answered:

   -I was distracted!

O homem e a mosca

   Um homem foi pedir aumento a seu patrão, mas recebeu apenas insultos. O homem foi para casa, deitou na cama e começou a chorar. Uma mosca apareceu voando sobre ele. O homem observou as voltas da mosca e percebeu que elas escreviam no ar:  

   -Você é um idiota!

   Imediatamente o homem pegou seu chinelo e acertou a mosca enquanto respondia:

   -E você é uma mosca morta!

   The man and the fly

   A man went to ask his boss for a raise, but he received only insults. The man went home, lay on the bed and started to cry. A fly appeared flying over him. The man observed the turns of the fly and perceived that they wrote a phrase in the air:

   -You are an idiot!

   The man got his slipper and hit the fly while answered:

   -And you are a dead fly!

Pesadelo na cidade do senhor das moscas

   Um homem ficou rico explorando o trabalho de outras pessoas, pagando-lhes miseráveis salários,  mas numa noite, teve um pesadelo.

    Ele sonhou que estava em um lugar cheio de moscas. Um sapo apareceu e comeu as moscas até ficar inflado e estourou. As moscas engolidas estavam livres novamente e se juntaram às outras moscas.  

   O homem acordou assustado com o senhor das moscas que apareceu em seu quarto em forma de um ladrão. O ladrão apontou uma arma para o homem rico e interpretou o seu sonho:

   -De mosca em mosca o sapo estoura o papo!

   Nightmare in the Lord of the flies’ city

   A man became rich exploiting the other people’s work, paying them miserable salaries, but in a night, he had a nightmare.

   He dreamed that he was in a place full of flies. A frog appeared and ate the flies until he became inflated and popped. The swallowed flies were free again and joined together with the others flies.

   The man wake up scared with the lord of the flies that appeared in his bedroom in the form of a thief.  The thief pointed a gun at the rich man and interpreted his dream:  

-Fly by fly, the frog pops his belly!
