Quando o tatu era criança

   O tatu, o cavalo, o morcego, o grilo, a pomba, o cachorro, a cobra, o papagaio, o corvo, a minhoca, a vaca, a galinha, o veado, o coelho, a mariposa, o gato, o pato, o rato, o sapo, a girafa e a mosca tinham suas presenças registradas , mas o dragão de sete cabeças esticou uma de suas cabeças até a mesa do professor Cágado, olhou para o livro de presenças e perguntou:

   -Por que me deixou com falta, professor?

   O professor Cágado respondeu:

   -Como eu iria saber que você está na sala se não respondeu “presente” quando eu chamei o seu número?

   E o dragão disse:

   - Eu estava distraído.

   The armadillo, the horse, the bat, the cricket, the dove, the dog, the snake, the parrot, the raven, the earthworm, the cow, the hen, the deer, the rabbit, the moth, the cat, the duck, the mouse, the frog, the giraffe and the fly had their presences registered, but the dragon of seven heads extended one of their heads until the teacher laggard’s table, looked at the attendance book and asked:

    -Why it is registered that I skipped, teacher Laggard?

   Teacher Laggard said:

   -How do you want I to Know that you are in the classroom, if you didn’t answered “present” when I called your number?

   And then the dragon of seven heads answered:

   -I was distracted!
