O bode e o rato

     Um bode resolveu deixar sua barba crescer e um rato disse:

     -Já verificou se essa barba está dentro da lei, amigo bode?

     O bode percebeu a zombaria, mas guardou sua resposta. E então quando a guerra civil estourou na floresta, e o rato veio pedir para se esconder na sua barba, o bode apenas respondeu:

     -Já verificou se essa guerra está dentro da lei, amigo rato?

   The goat and the mouse

     A goat chose to let his beard grow and a mouse said:

     -Did you already see if that beard is inside the law, friend goat?

     The goat perceived the mockery but kept his answer. And then when the civil war broke out in the forest, and the mouse came to ask to hide inside his beard, the goat  just said:

      -Did you already see if that war is inside the law, friend mouse?
