Uma girafinha que ficara jogando vídeo game em casa até amanhecer cochilava sobre sua carteira enquanto a cobrinha copiava a lição. O macaquinho aproximou-se deles com cuidado, segurou a cobrinha
pela cabeça e pelo rabo e amarrou-a no pescoço da girafinha. A cobrinha que já
estava acostumada com as artes do macaquinho conseguiu desamarrar-se, mas ficou
muito braba incomodando a aula.
E então o professor Cágado ficou nervoso
e levou os três para a pedagoga Cágada.
Na sala da pedagoga Cágada, o macaquinho
chorou e disse:
-Eu peço desculpas ao professor Cágado,
mas, por favor, não ligue para a minha mãe!
A pedagoga Cágada, chocada com a brincadeira
infantil, disse:
-Vai pedir desculpas ao professor Cágado,
mas quem vai pedir desculpas à girafinha que está morta?
E a cobrinha olhou para a girafinha e respondeu:
-Mas a girafinha não está morta. Ela está
apenas dormindo!

A
little giraffe who had stayed playing video game home until dawn napped on the desk
while the little snake copied the lesson. The little monkey approached them
carefully, took the little snake by the head and by the tail and tied her on the
neck of the little giraffe. The little snake who was already accustomed with
the arts of the little monkey, got to untied herself, but she became very
brave, troubling the class.
And then the teacher Laggard became nervous
and took the three ones to the pedagogue Laggard.
In the pedagogue Laggard’s room the little
monkey cried and said:
-I ask forgiveness to the teacher Laggard,
but please don’t call to my mother!
The pedagogue Laggard, shocked with the
infantile fun, said to the little monkey:
-You are going to ask forgiveness to the
teacher Laggard, but who are going to ask forgiveness to the little giraffe who is dead?
And the little snake looked at the little
giraffe and answered:
-But the little giraffe isn’t dead. She is
just sleeping!
