Um
seleto grupo de pulgas reuniu-se numa
sala fechada para discutir sobre o problema do trânsito congestionado na cidade
das pulgas. Uma delas sugeriu:
-E se as
fábricas e as escolas variassem os horários de seus turnos...
As
outras pulgas interromperam com uma risada e outra delas perguntou à pulga:
-E você acha que alguém pode mudar essa estrutura?
A
pulga ficou nervosa:
-Então
vamos ter que fazer um buraco através do
cachorro e colocar um metrô dentro dele!
Houve um
aplauso geral e outra pulga disse:
-Excelente idea!
Mas a
pulga ficou mais nervosa ainda:
-Vocês
acham que o cachorro vai aceitar isso?
E a
outra pulga perguntou novamente:
-Que importância
terá a opinião do cachorro se nós convencermos
a maioria das pulgas?

The
dog’s opinion
A select group of fleas gathered in a
locked room to discuss the problem of the congest transit in the fleas’ city. One
of them suggested:
-And if the factories and the schools vary
the timetables of their turns…
The another fleas interrupted with a
laugh and another of them asked the flea:
-And do you think someone can change
that structure?
The flea was nervous:
-Then we have to make a hole through the
dog and put a subway in it!
There
was a general applause and the another flea said:
-Excellent
idea!
But the flea was even more nervous:
-Do you think the dog will accept it?
And the another flea asked again:
-What
will be the importance of the dog’s opinion if we convince the most of fleas?
