Duas moscas pousaram sobre a borda de uma vasilha contendo um pouco de água. Estavam prontas para depositar seus ovos dentro da água que restava quando viram algo planando sobre elas. Uma das moscas disse:
-É um helicóptero!
A outra mosca tentou alertar:
-Não é um helicóptero. É uma libélula, o inseto mais rápido do mundo. E ele está...
Antes que a mosca ouvisse toda a advertência, a libélula já estava mastigando-a. A outra mosca calou-se e voou, mas foi pega no ar.
E depois de comer duas moscas, a libélula pousou sobre a vasilha e bebeu água limpa.
Remaining water
Two flies landed on the top edge of a vessel containing a little water. They were ready to lay their eggs into the remaining water when they saw something hovered over them. One of the fly said:
-It is a helicopter!
The another fly tried to warn:
-It is not a helicopter. It is a dragonfly, the world’s fastest insect! And it is…
Before the fly heard all the warning, the dragonfly was already chewing her. The another fly shut up and flew but she was caught in the air.
And after eating two flies, the dragonfly landed on the vessel and drank clean water.
